Four taken to hospital following County Armagh crash

Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash in County Armagh.

One woman was seriously injured.

Two cars were involved when it happened yesterday afternoon in the Forkhill Road area of Cloghoge.

A PSNI statement said, “Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in the Forkhill Road area of Cloghoge around 12.55pm on Thursday, January 4.”

“Officers attended, along with colleagues from other emergency services, after it was reported that a red Seat Leon and a black Volkswagen Polo had collided close to the junction of the Low Road / Ayallogue Road crossroads.”

“One woman was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries while a second woman and two men attended hospital.”

“The road was closed for some time, but has since reopened.

Anyone with information, including dashcam or other footage, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 722 of 4/1/24.”
