Charlie’s Bar in Enniskillen shared an emotional Christmas advert on Friday with a sentimental festive message that has left viewers in tears.

Taking a leaf out of Lewis Capaldi’s book, the video showcases an elderly gentleman, a dog, and of course a pint of the ‘black stuff.’

Many viewers left comments describing the video as 'better than the John Lewis Christmas advert' – high praise indeed.

The two-minute clip highlights the importance of local pubs for rural communities across Ireland, with the hope that no one feels alone at Christmas.

Posting the video on their Facebook page, Charlie’s Bar wrote “Christmas can be such a joyful time for some and painfully hard for others. One things for sure - you’ll always receive a warm welcome when you walk through our doors. We will be open on Christmas Day, so if you are alone this festive season, drop in for a chat.”

After posting the video on Friday, the video has over 569K Facebook views and over 407K TikTok views.
