Co Fermanagh: review underway after school bus crash

Eight school-children were on board a bus when it crashed in Co Fermanagh today (Wednesday)

All of them escaped injury when the incident happened around 8am on the Tattygare Road in Lisbellaw.

The Education Authority (EA) said the bus had been transporting eight post-primary pupils.

It added no injuries were reported by either the passengers or the driver.

And the EA said that all the children were safely transported from the scene by parents or family members.

"The PSNI was in attendance and a review of the circumstances of the incident will be undertaken," the EA said.

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed officers attended a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a bus in the Tattygare Road area of Lisbellaw on Wednesday morning.

They said no serious injuries were reported.
