Cyclist injured in Broughshane traffic collision

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward

A male cyclist has suffered injuries, which aren't believed to be life-threatening, following a collision in Broughshane.

It happened on Saturday afternoon in the Carnlough Road area around 5:30 pm when he was involved in a crash with a red Kia Sportage car.

A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who was in this area on Carnlough Road around the time and who may have witnessed the incident, to get in touch with police. This includes drivers with dashcam footage. The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1326 19/10/24.”
