Northamptonshire Police are appealing for two victims to come forward

Police officers in Northampton are appealing for the victims of a knife incident to come forward.

The incident happened on Wednesday, May 29, between 2pm and 2.40pm, in Prentice Court, in the town.

A man was seen with a zombie knife, threatening a man and a woman.

A zombie knife is a type of ornate often serrated knife or bladed weapon. They got the name as they're inspired by zombie films and TV series.

In 2016, parts of the United Kingdom made the sale of such knives illegal but with exceptions. In January 2024, the UK Government made the selling of zombie knives illegal without exception.

The victims or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
