Witness appeals launched after fatal collisions on Northamptonshire roads

It's as two women died in separate incidents

Witnesses are being sought after a motorcyclist died following a road traffic collision on Roman Road, near Whilton.

Shortly before 3.25pm on Monday March 18th, the rider of a white Suzuki motorcycle travelling westbound towards Whilton died in a crash with a black Ford S-Max car travelling in the opposite direction.

As a result of the collision, the teenage female rider of the bike sadly died.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage of the collision or of either vehicle travelling along Roman Road prior to the incident.

Also, officers are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the A43 near Tiffield.

This happened at the junction of St John’s Road last Wednesday, March 13th, just after 5pm.

Sadly, the driver of a Volkswagen – a 65-year-old woman, died on Friday in hospital following the collision with a Ford Focus.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this or who may have CCTV or footage of the collision.
