Witness appeal launched after fatal M1 collision

Witnesses are being sought after a man died following a collision on the northbound carriageway of the M1 motorway.

At about 10.25pm on Monday, April 29th, a man attempted to cross the carriageway, adjacent to the services at Junction 15A, and was involved in the collision with a blue Mercedes HGV.

The man, aged in his 30s, sadly died at the scene.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage of the collision or of anyone standing near to the M1 carriageway prior to it.
