Two men plead guilty to Duston burglary

Two men have pleaded guilty to burglary after appearing at Northampton Magistrates’ Court.

The pair were arrested shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday May 29th, following an alleged robbery at the Co-op in Main Street, Duston.

42 year old Michael Edward Boswell, of Candace Court, Northampton, and 35 year-old Oliver John Davidson, of Edgehill Road, Northampton, were charged with one count of burglary other than a dwelling in relation to the incident.

Both men pleaded guilty to the single charge and the case was adjourned for pre-sentencing reports.

Davidson will return to the same court on July 22, while Boswell is due back on July 25. The pair were released on conditional bail until sentencing.
