A man's been arrested after armed police responded to an incident in Desborough

Two men and a woman - all in their 20s - were left with knife wounds after the incident

The incident happened in the garden of a house on paddock lane at around 6:30 pm on Saturday .

The 24 year old man was then arrested at a nearby property.

Officers would like to speak with anyone with information.

The police released this statement:

Detectives investigating a serious assault in which three people sustained knife wounds have arrested a man in connection with the incident in Desborough.

The 24-year-old man from the town remains in police custody after he was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent following the incident in Paddock Lane yesterday (Saturday, June 29).

The incident occurred in the garden of a house shortly before 6.40pm, when a woman and two men – all in their 20s – sustained minor injuries which are not believed to be life changing.

Armed police officers attended the scene and swiftly arrested the 24-year-old man at a nearby property in Station Road.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed or have information which could assist with the investigation and has yet to come forward.
