Victim 16 year old Rohan Shand, known as Fred, died from a single stab wound to the chest following an incident outside The Cock Hotel in Harborough Road, back in March.

It was after a dispute between teenagers the previous day which had happened at a McDonalds.

A 17-year-old boy was cleared of murder and manslaughter at the same trial in the summer. He admitted possessing a knife at the murder scene and was sentenced to an 18-month community rehabilitation order

Police described the level of violence used to resolve a petty dispute between teenagers as "horrifying" adding their focus has always been securing justice for Fred.

The 15 year old has been sentenced to life with a minimum term of 13 years.
