Police not treating death at River Nene as suspicious

Police officers were called to the River Nene near Cotton End in Northampton on the afternoon of Monday March 17th.

It follows reports of the sudden death of a woman.

The force says they're not treating her death as suspicious and will be preparing a report for the Coroner.

Officers have added that their thoughts are with her loved ones at this time.
