Police appeal after serious sexual assault in Northampton

A man has been arrested after a woman reported being seriously sexually assaulted in a Becket’s Park.

The incident happened at around 3am today.

A police presence is expected to remain in the park for most of the day.

The police stated:

"Anyone with information about the incident, including anyone with dashcam from the surrounding area at around the time of the incident, is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101."
