Police appeal after car crashes with HGV in Northamptonshire

Police are appealing for information, witnesses or dashcam footage after a fatal road traffic collision on the A5, between Crick and Barby.

It's after a crash between a blue Fiat Brava car and a yellow Volvo HGV at around midday on Saturday.

The driver of the car, who was in his 60's, sadly died at the scene.

Police released this statement -

Witnesses are being sought after a car driver died following a road traffic collision on the A5, between Crick and Barby.

At about 12.10pm yesterday (Saturday, June 29), the driver of a blue Fiat Brava car and the driver of yellow Volvo HGV collied as they travelled in the opposite direction.

As a result of the collision the driver of the car – a man aged in his 60s, sadly died at the scene.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have captured the collision on dash cam footage.
