Organisers of a charity event for dog owners planned at the home of Northampton Town are hoping for a big turnout.

The "Pawesome Dog Show" is the first activity ran by Jean Limpitlaw at the Sixfields Stadium as she also prepares to take on the London Marathon.

Jean told us how the idea to run the show and prepare for her challenge came about:

"I lost one of my very best friends to Crohn's disease in recent years and I've been thinking for something to do to raise money in his memory.

"It'll be for Crohn's and Colitis UK which is a charity close to my heart. As a dog owner and working at the football club it felt very much as if it was meant to be.

"The show's classes include Best Puppy, Best Pedigree, Long Legs and Waggiest Tail.

"There's also a Basset breed meet up, in memory of my late friend."

The event at the Sixfields Stadium is on Sunday April 14th from 12pm.
