Northants Police appeal after incident involving group with machetes

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident which happened in Trafford Road, Rushden.

Officers say that last night, Thursday September 26th between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, there was a fight involving several men armed with machetes who then left the scene in a white transit van, a red Ford Fiesta and a silver Ford Focus.

Four men aged 36, 35, 19 and 19, have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
