Northamptonshire motorcyclist seriously injured after crash

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a road collision in Barton Road, Barton Seagrave.

It happened at around 8.20pm on Saturday (7th June).

Detectives are now urging anyone with dashcam footage or witnesses to come forward.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson said, "a collision occurred between the rider of a red Aprilia Shiver motorcycle and the driver of a white Ford Fiesta car.

"As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist – a man in his 30s - was taken to the University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries.

"Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage that captured any part of the collision.

"Please quote incident number 25000330888 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible."
