The Environment Agency is urging people in part of Northamptonshire to evacuate with a severe flood warning issued in the county.

The warning means there's a danger to life for the Billing Aquadrome and nearby businesses.

The agency says it's due to deep and fast flowing water and a rapid onset of flooding.

It follows heavy rain and strong winds brought on by Storm Henk, with more rain expected later.

People are being urged to follow advice from emergency services and call 999 if they're in immediate danger.

Flood sirens were used for the first time by owners to alert people staying in the holiday homes at Crow Lane in Billing in Northampton.

The warning affects the River Nene at Billing Aquadrome and nearby business parks including the Riverside Business Park and Crow Lane Industrial Estate.
