Jon Brady says the current injury situation has galvanised his players, as Northampton Town travel to Blackpool in League One action at 3pm.

The Cobblers boss says they've shown versatility when it comes to playing in different positions on the pitch.

Northampton Town currently sit 17th in League One, four points from the drop.

Their last five league games have been a mixed bag; they won two, lost one and drawn the others (WDWLD).

In their match against league-high-fliers Birmingham City last weekend- which they managed to draw following a 96th minute equaliser- two players were forced off through injury.

Both Tyler Magloire and Jack Baldwin came off in the 50th minute after going down.

Gaffer Jon Brady said, "You find a solution, then you've got to find another one, and then another one.

"I credit the players for their flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to just say 'I'll play there' and 'I'll go in that position'.

"It's becoming a strength in the players."

Meanwhile, Northampton Saints stars Tommy Freeman and Ollie Sleightholme feature for England later.

They've been named in the starting line up as Steve Borthwick's side face the Springboks in Rugby Union's Autumn Nations Series.
