Northampton Saints through to Grand Final

They beat Saracens last night.

Northampton Saints will play in the Grand Final at Twickenham on Saturday 8th June after beating Saracens 22-20 last night in the Gallagher Premiership semi-final at Franklin's Gardens.

It keeps England international Courtney Lawes on track for the trophy in his final season with the club.

Saints will face either Bath or Sale at Twickenham next Saturday, with those two meeting later today.

Fin Smith kicked five penalties and Burger Odendaal’s try had given the home side a 10-point lead at half-time.

Saints advance to the Twickenham final on 8 June against the winners of the Bath-Sale Sharks game, who play on Saturday.
