Motorcyclist dies in crash in Northamptonshire

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on the A5 on Monday 11 November

A motorcyclist has died in a collision in south Northamptonshire.

The man in his 40s died at the scene on the A5 yesterday afternoon according to Northamptonshire Police.

At around 1.40pm yesterday, (Monday 11 November) the man was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle on the A5 Watling Street southbound, between Potterspury and Old Stratford.

He was in collision with the rear of a black Mazda 6 car travelling in the same direction.

Officers say he fell from the motorcycle and sadly died at the scene.

Police investigators are now appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who has information about it including relevant dash-cam footage, to get in touch.
