Police appeal after reported sexual assault in Northampton

It happened at around 6am in Semilong park, which is officially called Millers Meadow

The police now want to trace a dog walker as a potential witness, after the alleged victim told detectives she saw someone walk past during the attack.

Officers say there will be increased police patrols in the area, and anyone with information is urged to get in touch.
