Northamptonshire police launch fresh appeal for GBH investigation
Three men have already been arrested
Detectives are continuing to investigate a serious assault in Northampton where a man in his 20s suffered a broken jaw and needed surgery.
The incident happened in the Drapery, Northampton last year, but police have released a fresh appeal to locate a man they believe could help with their investigation.
Three men from Northampton have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, but have since been released under investigation.
A Northamptonshire police spokesperson said, "Do you recognise this man? Detectives investigating a serious assault which took place in the Drapery, Northampton, are appealing for help to identify him.
"Between 6.10am and 6.30am on July 7 last year, a man in his 20s sustained a broken jaw that required surgery, following an altercation between two groups of men.
"Three Northampton men, aged 23, 23 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – Grievous Bodily Harm, and released under investigation.
"However, detectives believe the man in the image may have information which could assist them and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch."
