Fire tackled at unit at Althorp House in Northamptonshire
Earl Spencer has thanked Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue for their help in getting the fire under control.
The brother of Princess Diana says he's grateful to Northants Fire and Rescue for tackling a blaze at Althorp House.
A fire began Sunday 8th September in an empty industrial unit at the Northamptonshire Stately Home to the Spencer family.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue said that evening they were at the scene of a large fire in Harlestone Firs.
They asked people to avoid the area and those who live locally were asked to close doors and windows while they responded to the incident.
Northamptonshire Police were also called to attend.
Princess Diana's brother Earl Spencer said in a post on X that thankfully no one was hurt.
