Danielle Stone has been named as the new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire.
They were standing with two other candidates, Lid Dem Ana Savage Gunn and Conservative Martyn Emberson.
It follows a vote on Thursday 2nd May across the county.
Outgoing PFCC Steven Mold confirmed in March he'd stand down admitting making a "a significant mistake" after using sexist language towards the new female fire chief, Nikki Watson.
The winner Danielle Stone has told us what her first action as the new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner:
What is a Police Fire and Crime Commissioner?
Police Fire and Crime commissioners (PFCC) are elected to hold our police force and fire service to account, including the Chief Constable, currently acting Chief Constable Ivan Balhatchet, and Fire Chief, Nikki Watson.
They aim to ensure your police force and fire service are effective at cutting crime and engaging with local communities.
It's important they make sure both the policing and fire service budget are spent in the most important areas and how much of their council tax precept should be charged.
