Fatal collision involving ambulance in Northampton

A motorcyclist died after it collided with an ambulance.

A man has died after his motorcycle collided with an East Midlands Ambulance Service vehicle in Mereway, Northampton.

Northamptonshire police are appealing for witnesses who may have any information about the incident.

It happened at about 7.25am yesterday morning (August 25), when there was a crash between the rider of a motorcycle and the driver of an ambulance.

The motorcyclist- a man in his 40s- died as a result of the incident.

Detectives from Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed it or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision.
