Classic buses and vehicles to descend on Sywell Aerodrome

The Buses Festival features vintage and restored vehicles

The festival is organised in conjunction with the BUSES Magazine team and will feature a display of up to 100 vintage, restored and modern buses and coaches as well as free bus rides from some of the vehicles in attendance and a variety of 'bus' themed traders.

In a change for 2024, a lot of other commercial machines and cars as will feature too. Plus, given it's being held in the unique setting of Sywell Aerodrome with its aviation background, you might just spot some classic aircraft.

David Lane is from organisers, Buses Magazine:

"There'll be a huge selection of single decker buses, double decker buses, modern vehicles, recovery vehicles and quite a mixture. We're excited about extending the show to include cars.

"The show runs from 10am to 4pm and will include bus focused trade stands. It's all centred around nostalgia."

"We've been hosting similar events for around 15 years now, and the owners of the vehicles may well be coming from up to 100 or so miles away, so it'll be a great day out with refreshments and live music on hand too."
