It follows an Ofsted inspection

Services have "significantly improved" at Northamptonshire Children's Trust.

This comes after an inspection over arrangements for care leavers which happened last month. It found improvements through facilities in North Northamptonshire after studying the preparation and support given to young people to transition to adulthood, and the service's ability to keep in touch with them.

Chief Executive of the Trust, Colin Foster added:

“Although we do all that we can to ensure our young people feel cared for and supported, having it recognised by Ofsted is a real accolade to the amazing leaving care service.”

Services provided were previously rated as "requires improvement to be good", in 2022.

The report stated that support was "provided according to need, resulting in most young people making good progress towards independence".
