A physiotherapist will stand trial on sexual assault charges

A physiotherapist has appeared in court charged with five counts of sexual assault against three women.

Ashwin Dubay, aged 43, of Greville Close, Boughton, Northampton, is charged with five counts of the sexual assault of a female on dates in January and May 2023 and August 2024.

He appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 21, and was remanded in custody with the case sent to crown court for trial.

Dubay is next due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on October 2, 2024.

Police investigating the incidents want to hear from anyone with information which may be relevant to enquiries.
