The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Russia today (Thursday 14th June), and just like we have been since our famous victory in 1966, the country is hopeful that 2018 can be the year our Three Lions finally lift the cup.

With the England squad announced and preparations for the first game on Monday 18th June in full swing, we've made a simple schedule so you don't miss Harry Kane and co in action.

Although the FIFA World Cup begins on Thursday 14th June, England's first game isn't until Monday 18th June, when they play Tunisia in the group stage. They then move on to play Panama on the 24th June, before a tough game against Belgium on the 28th June.

Round of 16:

The Round of 16 stage will take place during 30th June - 2nd July. If the England team are successful and make it through Group G, their Round of 16 game will take place on either:

Four dates have been scheduled for the Quarter Finals, with fans hoping England will secure a place in the Quarter Finals for the first time since 2006. These include:

The last time England made it to the FIFA World Cup Semi-Finals was way back in 1990 when they finished in fourth place in Italy. If the team perform well and manage to get there in Russia, the Semi-Finals games will be played on:

Tuesday 10th July (9pm Kick-Off)

Wednesday 11th July (9pm Kick-Off)

Now, we know it was a very long time ago, but who can forget THAT victory back in 1966?! If England make it to the final this year, they will play at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Sunday 15th July.
