Woman arrested after 5 year old falls from window in Gateshead
The incident happened around 7:15am Wednesday 13th April
Police have arrested a woman in connection with an incident in Gateshead.
At 7:15am on Wednesday, April 13, we received a report expressing concern for a child that had fallen from a first floor window of a property in Newbury Avenue.
Police and ambulance attended and a 5-year-old child has been taken to the RVI hospital for treatment. She is currently in a stable condition.
A 48-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
