WATCH: Beautiful moment a colour blind father sees colour for the first time

A 66-year-old father has just seen colour for the first time.

A colourblind man was moved to tears after trying on a pair of glasses that allowed him to see colour for the first time.

The man, 66, was given a pair of EnChroma glasses from his children, for his birthday. As he unwraps the glasses in the video, his children look on to see his reaction.

When he tries them on, he immediately breaks down into tears. In his disbelief, he murmurs: "It's so clear, I can't believe it."

His children are clearly moved by his experience, as he sees coloured balloons, his blue cap and colour TV for the first time in his adulthood.

The video was uploaded to YouTube by Carson Stafford, the man's son. It has now been viewed over 400,000 times.
