Two arrested after Gateshead stabbing
Two men have been arrested after a stabbing in Gateshead. A 23-year-old man was assaulted near to the Angel Guest House on Front House in Swalwell at around7pm on Saturday, October 22nd. He was stabbed twice in his chest and was taken to hospital for treatment. He is in a stable condition. Two men, aged 23 and 27, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
