Thinking of you - Newcastle indie launch monthy community gesture

Now in their 7th year of trading, the North East burger giants Fat Hippo are acknowledging the mass support of their followers by taking monthly nominations for people who deserve a delivery of a surprise Fat Hippo takeaway.

Arthur Davey one of Fat Hippo’s directors said ‘Here at Fat Hippo we’ve supported so many great charities over the years and will continue to do so, however as a North East independent we feel it’s really important to give back to our local community, and that’s how the Thinking Of You project was born.’

‘We all know how much a small gesture can make a huge difference to someones day, whether that’s a card, a text, a call, just to let someone know you’re thinking of them. We racked our brains and realised we can make a little change with what we do best - burgers!’

The project starts today with nominations being taken on thinkingofyou@fathippo.co.uk, where you’re asked to leave the name of your nominee, their postcode (for delivery) and reason you are nominating them. The closing date will be the last day of each month with the chosen nominee announced the following day.

The first round of nominations will close on June 30th with the chosen nominee announced July 1st.
