Teen arrested after stabbing in Elswick
A man remains in hospital in stable condition
A man has been arrested after an assault in Elswick, Newcastle. Around 3:45am on Sunday, May 22, a 19-year-old man got into an altercation and fight with a group of men in a carpark at the corner of Adelaide Terrace and Clara Street. The man was knocked unconscious and suffered slash and stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
