Suspected Arson Attack in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a suspected arson attack occurred at the garden of a property on Beechwood Avenue in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred at 8pm on Saturday 23rd August when a tree was set alight and then the fire spread along the fence line towards a dwelling where gas canisters were stored. Cleveland Fire Brigade extinguished the fire before the canisters exploded.
