North Shields sensation Sam Fender has announced a HUGE homecoming gig.
The Brit Award winner will play his beloved St James' Park in Newcastle in June 2023.
The 9th of June, when the gig is on at St James Park is also Blaydon Races day making it the most Geordiest of Geordie gigs in the history of Geordies.
Sam's made no secret of his love for Newcastle United. You'll remember he was at the Stadium when the club was taken over last year.
This gig is set to be one of the biggest in the history of Newcastle.
On his website, Sam said: "It's a childhood dream. I always joked that one day we might play St James' Park in Newcastle, the biggest stadium in the north east, and now we're actually gonna play it on the 9th June next year. I can't wait, it's gonna be such a special moment and I hope you all join us for it"
