Police searching for a missing teenager have appealed for help from the public. Inspector Adrian Maher, of Northern Area Command, has confirmed 15-year-old Shelby Hill was last seen at an address in North Tyneside at around 9pm on April 30 but failed to return to her home address on Inverness Road in Jarrow later that evening. She was reported missing at 11pm the same day and police have been carrying out enquiries in both Northumbria and Durham to try and trace her whereabouts. Officers and Shelby's family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are now asking for help from the public. She is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft2in tall and with medium length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue top, black leggings and navy trainers. Shelby, or anyone who has seen her, should contact police on 101 quoting reference 1318 30/04/16.
