Northumbria Police - looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman on a Metro - have released the above pictures of someone they think may be able to help with their enquiries.

The victim was groped, over her clothing, whilst travelling between Gateshead and Pelaw around 5.30pm on Friday 10th January.

The man police want to speak to is described as white, 6 foot, with dark rectangular framed glasses, a black puffer puffer jacket and a bag.

Detective Constable Shona Dennison is investigating, she said: "A number of enquiries have been carried out and we have identified this man who we need to identify.

"He was on the Metro when this offence took place and could assist our investigation. Please, if you recognise him or, if this is you, please get in touch with us."
