It happened on Saturday August 28 (the Bank Holiday weekend).

A man in his 20s was approached by two suspected on Albert Road at around 2:20am and was punched in the face.

He fell to the ground and suffered a fractured skull.

After checking CCTV footage two suspects have been identified. Both are described as white men in their late 30s.

One was 6’3” tall, of medium build, with straight dark hair and wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.

The second was 5’6” tall, of stocky build and with a shaved head. He was also wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Cleveland Police.
