One dead and another fighting for life in hospital after Wallsend crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Wallsend on Friday evening.
It collision happened around 8.10 pm on Hadrian Road when a Vauxhall Vectra collided with an Audi.
The passenger in the Vauxhall, a male in his 30’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Vauxhall is currently in hospital with serious, life threatening injuries.
The Audi driver sustained minor injuries.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses.
