Northumbria Police release 'naughty list'

Police in Newcastle and Gateshead are appealing for help this 'Yuletide' season to locate some of the most wanted people in the area. Officers are releasing the details of nine men and one woman in an effort to find and arrest them before Christmas day. Those on the 'naughty list' are all being pro-actively sought by officers and are wanted in connection with serious offences including theft, burglary and assault. Their details are now being released to the public as part of 'Operation Yuletide' in an appeal to trace them and get them arrested. The 'Naughty' list... 1) Gary Douglas, 29, from Low Fell in Gateshead . Wanted in connection with making threats in Gateshead. 2) Joseph Ritson, 25, from Tweed Grove in Lemington. Wanted in connection with the TWOC of a car in Newcastle and thefts from cars in Northumberland. 3) Tor Turnbull, 24, from Dunholme Road in Newcastle. Wanted on an emergency recall to prison for motoring and domestic related offences. 4) Mark Kilgallon, 33, from Nichol Court in Newcastle. Wanted in connection with a criminal damage and a burglary in Newcastle. 5) Matthew John Loan, 25, from Whitehouse Crescent in Gateshead. Wanted in connection with a three thefts and an aggravated burglary all in Gateshead. 6) Claire Louise Loxley, 38, from Colston Street in Newcastle. Wanted in connection with a theft from an elderly person's house in the west end of Newcastle. 7) Michael Boyce, 20, from Whitehouse Crescent in Gateshead. Wanted on an emergency recall to prison for burglary, arson and aggravated vehicle taking. 8) Benjamin Hawkins, 20, from Acton Place in Newcastle. Wanted in connection with an assault in Newcastle and possession of drugs. 9) Chistopher Robert James La Rivere, 31, from Derwentwater Road in Gateshead. Wanted on an emergency recall to prison for harassment and possession of an offensive weapon. 10) Francis George Wardle, 42, from Westmorland Road in Newcastle. Wanted on an emergency recall to prison following a serious assault in the Wallsend area. Newcastle and Gateshead Detective Inspector Jane Fairlamb said: "We are launching operation Yuletide in the run up to Christmas to try and locate these people. They are all wanted in connection with some serious offences in the Newcastle and Gateshead areas and officers have been doing all they can to locate them but without success. We now need the public's help. "Take a look at the images and if you have any information that could help us locate anyone on the naughty list then please ring us or Crimestoppers and pass it on. "We want these people arrested before Christmas and we are looking to our communities for help in making this happen. Any information could help, so please pick up the phone and help us make this Christmas a merry one." Anyone with any information into any of the people involved in 'Operation Yuletide' is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 'Operation Yuletide'.
