Northumbria police appeal after man left with serious head injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a suspected assault, which left a man with serious head injuries.

The incident happened after midnight on Sunday, April 23, outside Holy Hobo, in Jesmond.

This caused him to fall to the ground and he sustained serious head injuries as a result, he remains in hospital, in a serious but stable condition.

Police said:

"Officers launched an investigation into the incident and are carrying out a number of enquiries.

"Witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have information should contact police using the ‘Tell us Something’ page of our website or call 101, quoting NP-20230423-0021."
