A man has died in an alleged stabbing in North Shields.
A man has died in an alleged stabbing in North Shields.
Police recieved a report just after 3am this morning that a man had been stabbed outside of an address in West Avenue.
The 24-year-old was taken to Newcastle's RVI for treatment for multiple stab wounds but later died.
A 24-year-old man and 20-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.
A section of the street will remain closed off this morning to allow for forensic enquiries to be carried out.
