A minute silence will be held in the North East to remember the victims of the Tunisian terrorist attack this Friday (3rd July)

Trinity Square in Gateshead will come to a stand-still at noon as part of the nation-wide tribute to the victims killed in the terrorist attack, one week on.

Among the 38 people killed was Lisa Burbidge, from Whickham (pictured)

A special service will also be led by Reverend Jim Craig in memory of lives lost in Tunisia.

He told Metro Radio: "When we come across something that just seems so unfair and atrocious it goes beyond words - beyond any rational explanation. So to give people a moments silence to pay their respects I think is the most powerful thing you can do"
