North East Students Get A Level Results

Take a deep breath....

A-level Results Day is finally here and students across the North East are finding out how they have done in their exams.

Metro Radio has been speaking to people picking up their all important envelopes at Newcastle Sixth Form College.

Ryan Newman was shocked to find out he had done so well '"I've got 3 A's and a B and i'm absolutely chuffed. Over the moon. I can't wait to tell my mam that's the most important part."

Across the UK around 300,000 students will be collecting their results.
