Stonewall Top 100 Employers 2015 is the definitive list
We've got quite a few North East companies in the Top 100 employers for Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgender people.
Newcastle and Northumberland Councils are some of the best in the country for equality and diversity. The charity Stonewall look at how employers support lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender people... The councils at joint 19th. Tyne & Wear Fire Service are in at 37th.
South Tyneside Homes are 43rd
Norhumbria Police are 85th
and Your Homes Newcastle are 98th
