Nissan In Sunderland Launch New Infiniti Vehicles

Nissan in Sunderland are launching a brand new car which will be exported from the North East to around the globe.

After a £250m investment and the creation of 300 jobs - the first Infiniti vehicles will roll off the assembly line today.

It's the first model being exported from Sunderland to the USA and China.

Nissan say it will be the first major car brand in 23 years to have large scale manufacturing in the UK

The first new Infiniti Q30 vehicles are now in production at the brand’s newly-built facilities in Sunderland. The 750 acre plant is already the largest in the UK producing just under half a million cars per year.
