Met Office issue weather warning as heavy rain hits the North East

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for the North East as heavy downpours hit the region.
A yellow warning for rain is now in place until 10pm tonight (5th October).
They say that flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely, bus and train services are probably affected with journey times taking longer and spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer too.
