Massive Gin Festival planned for Newcastle in June.

The UK’s original touring festival of gin has set its sights on Newcastle, returning to Gosforth Racecourse for the second time, with tickets expected to fly.
The mission remains the same; great venues, great atmosphere and most importantly great gin. Even better, GinFestival.com is constantly evolving in order to keep things fresh and exciting. Explore the different zones including lively bars, a generous and informative brand room, plus creative cocktail bar all under one roof.
Taking place over 8th - 10th June 2018 at Gosforth Racecourse, there’s four opportunities for the gin-lovers of the toon to join the party:

With a real dedication to the perfect serve, guests are gifted their very own copa glass on arrival, with a funky pocket-sized brochure to guide them through their Gin Festival journey. From small craft distilleries using locally foraged botanicals, right through to exotic examples of contemporary gins in fantastic flavours, there's something for every palate
The delicious mixers on offer in 2018 include the brand new Schweppes 1783 premium range, made with fresh, all-natural ingredients. Tasty flavours include Schweppes 1783 Crisp, Light and Cucumber Tonic Water, Ginger Ale and Salty Lemon. These high quality mixers were crafted with the world’s top mixologists and expert bartenders to pair perfectly with gin and a range of other spirits.
Using a clever new cashless system, eager gin enthusiasts will now be able to head straight to the bar, with the option to top-up their drink credit pre-event. When guests create a cashless account before the event and top up £25 or over they also get a bonus extra £5 credit. These quality G&T’s are just £5 each, plus selected super premium craft gins at £6.50 and cocktails are £10.
