Man charged with Sunderland rape.
A man's been charged in connection with the alleged rape of a 15 year old girl in Sunderland.
It happened around 10 O'clock on St Mary's Way in the City.
27 year old David Carney of Hart Square will appear in court later on today (Tues 1st March).
